Our Top Tips: The Perfect G&T

Cheers to International Gin & Tonic Day

Often highly regarded as a versatile spirit, gin makes a wonderful base for many cocktails. Including the national favourite: The humble G&T.

How To Make The Perfect G&T

The glass.
Choosing your favourite Gin for your G&T is just one part of the equation. To enjoy the perfect G&T you’ll have to start with your favourite glass. The right glass will not only look and feel beautiful but will also enhance the nose to take in the stunning fragrances from your Gin.

The right amount of ice.
Fill your gin glass almost completely full with ice. The more ice, the longer your G&T will stay chilled.

The measurements.
This is entirely up to personal preference, but as a rule of thumb we suggest using a quarter of your favourite gin followed by three quarters of your favourite tonic.

Stir gently.
Then add a slice of lime to garnish. Top Tip: Roll the lime to release the juice before cutting.

And Enjoy!

There is no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ choice of G&T combination, it is all down to personal preference. But we thought we would share our favourites to provide a little bit of inspiration for your own creations.
