About The Eden Project
The Eden Project's mission is to demonstrate and inspire positive action for the planet.
In the year 2000, the Eden Project transformed a disused china clay pit in Cornwall into a Living Theatre of Plants and People to demonstrate what people could do when they put their minds to something. It was their first ‘shop window’ for the future they want to make; a symbol of regeneration and an example of turning negatives into positives — something that still runs through everything they do today: in their destinations, nature-based learning programmes, community programmes and nature recovery projects. The Eden Project, an educational charity, reconnects people with nature, demonstrates and communicates positive change and inspires people to act and advocate for planetary health. Their vision: Healthy planet, healthy people.
The Collaboration
Together, we want consumers to gain a deeper understanding of the world and how together, our actions can make a difference. We want to inspire consumers to buy better products, designed to last longer. We want to demonstrate and inspire positive action for the planet.
